Hi! My name is Terri Richards and I have been a registered nurse since December of 1995. I started my career on a surgical floor of our local hospital, 12 hour night shift. I have done case management, long term care and home care.
I had a business for 20 years, of general foot care and pedicures for geriatric clients, in facilities as well as their own homes. Probably the most challenging, and yet my favorite, were the Alzheimer’s clients.
I began teaching CNA in 2003. I loved it from the start. I am now also doing manual skills evaluations for CNA’s wanting to recertify and recently wrote a refresher course for the state exam.
I have 6 children and 15 grandchildren. I enjoy reading, (especially mysteries), flowers, crocheting, embroidery, and sewing.
