Tamelyn Motley

I am a native of Urbana, having being educated in the USD 116 school district.  I received my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from North Carolina Central University in Psychology and School Counseling respectively. While living in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, I worked with the HIV/AIDS population before becoming a school counselor in Durham, North Carolina.  After relocating back to Illinois, I was a counselor at Centennial High School for a year before working as a Crisis Therapist for several years.  I am currently a school counselor at Urbana High School after working as a school counselor at Eisenhower High School, Decatur, IL for the past seven  years.  I have always had the desire to work with and help others.  It brings me great joy to see others succeed, especially academically when they once believed that they could not.
